How to Solve the Rubix Cube using the Petrus Method

Ready for another way to solve the Rubix Cube. It in "no-way!!" ressembles the traditional layer-by-layer method. I'm getting close... But still haven't quite got it down yet, But being able to see it on video does help!

The Petrus Method was created by Lars Petrus. This technique he developed ended up winning him the 1981 Swedish Championships. And by 1982 he had finished 4th in the entire world and again, in 2005 he took the world championship held in Orlando Florida for the " fewest moves used!!"

The method Lars Petrus developed has exactly 7 steps. First you must create a 2x2x2 corner, then you will have to expand that square into a 2x2x3 rectangle, then twist the edges. Once you have it to this point... Finish the first two layers and move onto positioning the corners on the incomplete sides. When you have done that, move onto positioning the edge pieces in their respective location. Now, at first this may seem pretty confusing, but you will start to understand more and see things alot more clearly while watching the Tutorial Videos below!! :-)

Finally, Mastering this method is just a matter of doing it a few times and getting use to all the steps. Before you know it... You will be able to solve the Rubix Cube before dinner is on the table!! :-)
